Roshni

A good mentor is someone who practices what he preaches. He/she would not only tell you what the best approach is, but would be utilizing the approach himself. One of the main objectives of having a mentor is to learn from his/her mistakes. Thus it's important to choose a mentor from a similar industry. When I started theAsianparent I was blessed to be working with a mentor who was a former successful web entreprenuer. He taught me so many things and helped me avoid many a pitfalls.
A good mentor is also someone who listens and gives you time. He shouldn't just be eager to get the conversation over with. You should not be just a checklist of a sheet of things that need to be done. He/she should be able to get involved with your "pet project"
